Meet our founders Seb and Milly. Their story began many years ago on a tiny beach in Devon, where they met while walking their dogs every single day, no matter if it was rainy or sunny. It took them over a year before they finally had the courage to ask each other on a date.

Seb

Before Beaufort, Seb was a full-time firefighter, working in various departments within the fire service. He worked his way all the way up to becoming a recruitment officer.

Milly

Before Beaufort, I spent years working behind the scenes as a trader in the chemical industry. My company supplied creatine to some of the biggest names on the market — and what I saw shocked me.

Time and time again, large brands came to us with the same request: "What’s the cheapest you can offer?" Not "How pure is it?" Not "Is it lab tested?"

Just price. At any cost.

It didn’t matter if the creatine was low-grade, unverified, or poorly sourced — as long as it was cheap and easy to label, it passed. That mindset didn’t sit right with me. In fact, it went against everything I believe supplements should stand for.

Then came the global creatine shortage in 2022 — and the cracks in the industry became impossible to ignore.

Prices skyrocketed. Quality dropped.

And it was the small retailers who suffered most. With no leverage and limited access to reliable supply, they were priced out or forced to sell subpar products, while larger brands cut corners and continued to profit.

That was the breaking point.

So I wanted to do things differently. I wanted to create a brand built on real quality, full transparency, and zero shortcuts — because I believe everyone, from individual customers to independent retailers, deserves access to tested, trustworthy supplements.
